Begin your first full day in Egypt by visiting the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, home to the largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including treasures from Tutankhamen and artifacts dating as far back as 1300 BC. During your visit, you will enter the famous Mummy Room, showcasing the remains of the ancient kings and nobility of Egypt, including Ramses II, Seti I, and the beautiful Queen Nefratari. After lunch at a local restaurant, head back to your hotel to relax and recharge.

Venture to the Giza, home of the Great Pyramids. Built around 2650 BC, the Pyramids of Giza are the only surviving monuments of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Embrace your adventurous side as you enter the interior of one of these legendary pyramids. A visit to the pyramids isn’t complete without a camel ride around the pyramid complex. Finally, pay a visit to to the ancient guardian of the pyramids, the Great Sphinx. Afterwards, lunch at the famous Marriott Mina House, before driving back to your hotel.

✈ Your morning will begin early with a short flight to Luxor, the ancient city of Thebes, capital of ancient Egypt for more than 1000 years. You will be met by your guide with private transportation to your luxury cruise ship, the Historia. Lunch will be aboard the ship. After lunch, enjoy your visit to Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple the largest temple in the world. Both of these incredible sites date back to age of the Middle Kingdom. After a long day of travel and touring, return to your ship for dinner and relaxing on the sundeck.

Start your day with breakfast aboard the ship. Your private tour today begins with a visit to the Valley of the Kings accompanied by your private guide and egyptologist. This is one of the most exciting highlights of your tour, as you will see with your own eyes the vibrant colors painted thousands of years ago on the tomb walls. Your tour will include a visit to the extraordinary tombs of King Tutankhamen, Seti I, and Ramses VI. After this, a short 5 minute drive will take you to visit the Valley of the Queens to see the tomb of Queen Nefertari. This is an exclusive opportunity, as the tomb has been recently opened to the public after being closed for many years.
On your way back to the ship, you will make a quick stop for a picture with the Colossi of Memnon. As you begin sailing to Aswan, you will pass through the Esna Lock, a unique experience best viewed from the sundeck of you ship.

After breakfast, enjoy a horse drawn carriage ride to Edfu Temple, the best-preserved temple in Egypt, which dates back to 237 BC. This is the only temple where you can see the sacred boat of the god, and it is also the most fully intact temple we have today. Return to your ship by carriage and have a delicious lunch as you begin sailing to Kom Ombo. Spend the afternoon relaxing in the lounge, taking advantage of the ships amenities, or resting in your room. The ship also offers a tea time on the sundeck, when you can have time getting to know your guide and ask all your burning questions about Egypt. After docking at Kom Ombo, visit the double temple of Horus and Sobek. This temple features early documentation about the ancient Egyptian calendar and medicine. Inside the museum you will also see spectacularly preserved mummified crocodiles. Back to the cruise to enjoy a traditional Egyptian meal and the Galabia party, where everyone will be dressed as an Egyptian. Feel free to attend the party without traditional attire, you can still participate in the games!

After breakfast on the ship, your guide will take you by private transportation to the High Dam. Then visit Philae Temple by boat. Finally, see the Unfinished Obelisk at the granite quarry that was used by ancient Egyptians since the age of the Old Kingdom. Return to the ship for lunch. After your meal, you will enjoy a Felucca sailboat ride then back to the ship for the Nubian show and dinner.

✈ After an early breakfast, check out of the cruise, and meet your private transportation to the airport to fly to Abu Simbel. (If no flight is available, you will meet your guide in the lobby for a private drive to the temple) Abu Simbel was built by Ramses the Great in 1280 BC. Lunch will be served in a local home. Afterwards, return to Aswan to rest in you luxurious hotel.

Begin your day by flying back to Cairo. Your guide will be waiting for you, and upon your arrival, you will receive private transportation to tour Islamic Cairo, including a walk down Moez Street and the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar. Lunch will be at Najeeb Mahfouz Restaurant. After lunch, explore Saqqara, the site of hundreds of tombs and 14 pyramids, including the Step Pyramid of Djoser. Afterwards, check back into your luxurious hotel, the Four Seasons.
