  • ✈ Arrive in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. You will be greeted upon your arrival by your representative and transferred to your luxury Hotel.

  • After breakfast, you will be meet your private guide and egyptologist who will have a private transport ready to show you the wonders of Giza, Memphis and Saqqara.

    You will visit the Great Pyramids, the last remaining monument of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, guarded by the beautiful Great Sphinx. Here you will be offered an opportunity to take a camel ride around the entire complex of all 9 pyramids. This is a fantastic opportunity for iconic pictures.

    Next you will visit Memphis, where Egypt’s ancient capital once stood. Colossal statues of Ramses II and the alabaster sphinx along with a beautiful outdoor museum will offer a unique look into Egypt’s history.

    Finally, you will journey to the edge of the Sahara Desert to visit Saqqara, home to 14 ancient pyramids, including the Red Pyramid, the Bent Pyramid, and the Black Pyramid. Each of these ancient tomb pyramids displays unique qualities and designs. Explore the underground chambers of the Step Pyramid, the pyramid of Unas, and Mastaba of one of the noblemen.

  • After breakfast this morning, your private guide will take you to the Egyptian museum, home to the most extensive collection of exclusively Egyptian artifacts, including the gold mask of Tutankhamen and other treasures found in the tomb of the boy king. You will also enter the royal mummy room and come face to face with the remains of the ancient kings whose tombs and temples you visited the previous day.

    Then you will take a private transport to Old Cairo to visit the city’s oldest churches, synagogues, and mosques. Here you can visit the Coptic Museum and the Hanging Church, the traditional home to the holy family when they fled to Egypt.

  • ✈After an early morning checkout, you will transfer to the airport for a short, flight to Luxor. This was once the ancient city Thebes, capital of Ancient Egypt.

    Escorted by your private guide, you will begin the touring today at the Luxor museum, which boasts of an outstanding collection of artifacts which tell the story of ancient Thebes from the Old Kingdom up to the Islamic Period. Enjoy horse riding in the old market, and get a taste of Egyptian food at one of the local restaurants.

    Now retire to your luxurious hotel to rest and take in the beautiful view of the majestic Nile river.

  • Today you will visit the Valley of the Queens, where the Ancient Egyptian queens were laid to rest with their sons. The incredibly vibrant paintings will display the desert’s almost magical ability to preserve the past.

    Stop for lunch at a local restaurant before moving on to the Valley of the Nobles. Here archeologists are still discovering burial sites of Egyptian nobles. You will learn how life and burials differed between the elite royalty and the upper and middle class citizens of ancient Egypt.

  • This day begins with a 3 hour drive to Abydos’ temple which dates back to 1250 BC. The temple construction was completed by Ramses II after being started by his father, Seti I. Afterwards, another drive will take you to Dendara, which displays the most well preserved ceiling of all the Egyptian temples. Here Queen Cleopatra is portrayed, showing the queens special connection to the ancient Egyptian goddess Hathor.

    Now return to the comfort of your hotel room in Luxor for some rest and relaxation.

  • Today you will check out of your hotel and begin your 5 star cruise aboard the Oberoi Phila, one of the Nile’s most luxurious cruise ships. Lunch will be aboard the ship.

    After lunch, enjoy your visit to Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple the largest temple in the world. Both of these incredible sites date back to age of the Middle Kingdom. The temples are connected by the brilliant Avenue of the Sphinx, one of the prides of Luxor. After a long day of travel and touring, return to your ship for dinner and relaxing on the sundeck.

  • Start your day with breakfast aboard the ship. Your private tour today begins with a visit to the Valley of the Kings accompanied by your private guide and egyptologist. This is one of the most exciting highlights of your tour, as you will see with your own eyes the vibrant colors painted thousands of years ago on the tomb walls. Your tour will include a visit to the famous tomb of King Tutankhamen where you will have the opportunity to see the remains of the king himself.

    After this, you will visit the Valley of the Workers, which depicts the details of the ancient Egyptian middle-class daily life and how their humble graves differed from the exquisite tombs of the kings.

    Your next stop will be at the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, nestled at the foot of the dessert hills. The white sandstone temple strikes a sharp contrast against the rust colored cliff towering above it. This magnificent temple is a must see an an iconic place to take a picture as your tour comes to a close.

    On your way back to the ship, you will make a quick stop for a picture with the Colossi of Memnon. As you begin sailing to Aswan, you will pass through the Esna Lock, a unique experience best viewed from the sundeck of you ship.

  • After breakfast, enjoy a horse drawn carriage ride to Edfu Temple, the best-preserved temple in Egypt, which dates back to 237 BC. This is the only temple where you can see the sacred boat of the god, and it is also the most fully intact temple we have today.

    Return to your ship by carriage and have a delicious lunch as you begin sailing to Kom Ombo Temple. Spend the afternoon relaxing in the lounge, taking advantage of the ships amenities, or resting in your room. The ship also offers a tea time on the sundeck, when you can have time getting to know your guide and ask all your burning questions about Egypt.

    After docking at Kom Ombo, visit the double temple of Horus and Sobek. This temple features early documentation about the ancient Egyptian calendar and medicine. Inside the museum you will also see spectacularly preserved mummified crocodiles.

    Back to the cruise to enjoy a traditional Egyptian meal and the Galabia party, where everyone will be dressed as an Egyptian. Feel free to attend the party without traditional attire, you can still participate in the games!

  • After breakfast on the ship, your guide will take you by private transportation to the High Dam. Then visit Philae Temple by boat. Finally, see the Unfinished Obelisk at the granite quarry that was used by ancient Egyptians since the age of the Old Kingdom. Return to the ship for lunch. After your meal, you will enjoy a Felucca sailboat ride then back to the ship for the Nubian show and dinner.

  • ✈ After an early breakfast, check out of the cruise, and meet your private transportation to the airport to fly to Abu Simbel. (If no flight is available, you will meet your guide in the lobby for a private drive to the temple) Abu Simbel was built by Ramses the Great in 1280 BC. Lunch will be served in a local home. Afterwards, return to Aswan to rest in you luxurious hotel.
