Itinerary

  • ✈ Arrive in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. You will be greeted upon your arrival by your representative and transferred to your Hotel.

  • Venture to Giza, the home of the Great Pyramids. Built around 2650 BC, the Pyramids of Giza are the only surviving monuments of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Embrace your adventurous side as you enter the interior of one of these legendary pyramids. A visit to the pyramids isn’t complete without a camel ride around the pyramid complex. Finally, pay a visit to to the ancient guardian of the pyramids, the Great Sphinx.

    Next you will visit the Egyptian Museum, home to the largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including treasures from Tutankhamen and artifacts dating as far back as 1300 BC. During your visit, you will enter the famous Mummy Room, showcasing the remains of the ancient kings and nobility of Egypt, including Ramses II, Seti I, and the beautiful Queen Nefratari.

  • Check out of your hotel and meet your escort who will take you to the Cairo airport for your flight to Aswan. Here in Aswan, your guide will take you by private transportation to the High Dam. Then visit Philae Temple by boat. This special temple was rescued from its watery grave by UNESCO and the entire temple complex was moved to the beautiful island.

    You will then board your beautiful cruise ship and have lunch as the ship carries you down the Nile to your next stop on the tour. Kom Ombo Temple is dedicated to two ancient Egyptian gods: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the god of medicine. Take a walk through this one of a kind structure and stroll through the crocodile museum which houses several mummified crocodiles excavated from the temple grounds.

  • Today you will start your day with a horse drawn carriage ride to Edfu Temple. This temple is dedicated to the god Horus, son of Isisi and Osiris. After the banning of worship to the pagan gods, Edfu was buried in the sand and forgotten, preserving it perfectly and making it one of the most complete temples you can see in Egypt today. After walking through the ancient rooms with your private guide, return by carriage to your ship and sail to Luxor, where you next adventure is waiting.

  • Start your day with breakfast aboard the ship. Your private tour today begins with a visit to the Valley of the Kings accompanied by your private guide and egyptologist. This is one of the most exciting highlights of your tour, as you will see with your own eyes the vibrant colors painted thousands of years ago on the tomb walls. Your tour will include a visit to the famous tomb of King Tutankhamen where you will have the opportunity to see the remains of the king himself. 

    After this, you will visit the Valley of the Workers, which depicts the details of the ancient Egyptian middle-class daily life and how their humble graves differed from the exquisite tombs of the kings.

    Your next stop will be at the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, nestled at the foot of the dessert hills.   • Enjoy your visit to Luxor Temple, which gives an incredible representation of the religions of Egypt, combining the temple to the ancient gods, remains of a coptic chapel from the Christian era, and the Mosque of Abu el-Haggag from the Islamic period. Then visit Karnak Temple the largest temple in the world. Both of these incredible sites date back to age of the Middle Kingdom. The temples are connected by the brilliant Avenue of the Sphinx, one of the prides of Luxor.

    After lunch, your private transportation will drive you to Luxor airport, where you will catch a flight to Cairo and from there return home.
